The following are some of the activities the club uses to raise funds. Money collected through fund raising events is allocated across the various organizations, groups, and charitable efforts that the club supports. The club's operational budget comes from dues collected from the individual members.
Overland Park Days - We run a concession stand at this annual arts and crafts fair held in September at Santa Fe Commons.
Metcalf Avenue of Flags - Merchants and home owners financially support the placement of flags on their property along Metcalf Avenue. If you enjoy seeing the American Flag display, 8 times per year, along Metcalf Avenue or would like to help the program raise funds for the sight impaired contact our Treasurer or call Jack Brown at 913-681-5750.
Lions Mints - Mints are placed at various retail and business locations. There are also quarterly "Mint Day" projects supported by Wal-Mart, Sams, and K-Mart.
